Going Postal Over Mailings

Earlier in November the Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC)  ruled that Full-Service Intelligent Mail Barcoding (IMB) constitutes a rate increase when implemented. Supposedly in effect on January 26, 2014, automated price discounts are being delayed until PRC says otherwise.

2012 USPS® QR Code Discount

With the smartphone revolution that’s been taking place over the last few years, there’s been an explosion in popularity of QR codes in marketing. The relatively recent technology has allowed marketers to do everything from adding a YouTube video link to a print ad, to virtual grocery stores.  Even the US Postal Service is getting in on the QR code action, with their Mobile Commerce & Personalization Promotion for the summer of 2012.
